I've been banking with PEFCU (Purdue Employee Federal Credit Union) now for about 10 years. At times their website has been slow, but for the most part it's been a good experience. Except for the past month. They sent out new cards because they said our new ones were compromised. But it turns out that the new ones they sent me were the compromised ones so shortly after getting them they disabled them, and of course it came as a surprise to me. So I went a week without them (while I was traveling - very convenient) until the new ones arrived. I've had them for a week now with no trouble until we went to use the overdraft protection and guess what? Not only does the over draft protection not work but Kristy's credit card also didn't work! So we went home and moved plenty of money over from our savings account and then we were able to take our wall-mart groceries home. Thanks PEFCU! Thanks for letting me know that I no longer have the same services available to me that were available before. It's not like they don't have my email address! I get SPAM from them all the time, the least they could do is alert me via email. I'll be closing my account in the morning over the phone.

You would think that with the tanking economy businesses, banks especially, would be bending over backward for people. All I've noticed is that customer service is going down the toilet as well. Except at my bank where they pretend after 10+ years of being anonymous that I am suddenly best friends with all the tellers. Weird.
What bank are you switching to? I've been a 5/3 (Fifth Third) member since we moved back to Indy in 2002 and haven't had any issues. Plus, I think there is one at 56th and Georgetown.
PEFCU does seem to have noce car loan rates...
