tenure

I've been married for ten years today. Being married is nice yet a little less romantic that what I envisioned - perhaps everyone will blame me for any lack of romance in my life. Anyway, when me and all my siblings got married did anyone else notice a pattern. Our family is full of patterns, each of us was born roughly 2 years apart, alternating: boy, girl, boy, girl, Elizabeth... Then starting from the oldest we got married in 97, 98, 99, 99, 01 - if Sariah had been married in 00 we would have had each of 5 years covered consecutively. So I guess the next botched up number pattern is left for me since I'm the next youngest sibling.

I don't know about the numerical stuff but do you think maybe two kids and a third on the way might have something to do with the lack of romance? It's like neither of you have anything else to think about. But wait! There must have been some sort of romance 8 months ago!!! (You better not say that was just physical or all your sisters plus your Mom and Nana -- not to mention Kristy -- will be coming after you.)

Happy Anniversary! Forget romance, just bring home a good paycheck and do the dishes and some laundry now and then. Maybe change a diaper or two...that's what most women find attractive.

Happy Anniversary! Can't say that there is anything more attractive than adam scrubbing our toilet, doing dishes or cleaning up after the kids-whatever that might entail.
